Ductless Mini-Split Installation
Where Ductless Works Best
- The house has no ducts, or no room in the attic for them.
- One room is always too hot: a bedroom, office or top floor.
- You added a studio, garage conversion or ADU.
- Different people want different temperatures in different rooms.
- You care about how the equipment looks on your walls.

The most common and cost-effective style, mounted high on the wall.
- Ceiling cassette
Sits flush in the ceiling and blends into the room. Needs space above the ceiling.
- Concealed ducted unit
Hidden in a soffit or attic with small grilles. The cleanest look for design-sensitive rooms.
- Floor console
Low on the wall, good under windows and in rooms with sloped ceilings.

Local Expertise
Ductless Mini-Split Installation Across Los Angeles
Many homes in the Hollywood Hills, Burbank and Glendale were built without ducts or have no attic space to add them. Ductless lets us condition those homes without opening walls and ceilings. For whole homes, one outdoor unit can feed several rooms in a multi-zone setup.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions about HVAC installation.
01How many zones do I need?
Usually one head per room you want to control. Open living areas may need one larger head, and bedrooms each get their own. We plan it room by room.
02Will the line sets be visible outside?
We route them the shortest clean path and cover them with line hide painted to match the house. Where possible, lines run inside walls or under the house.
03Are mini-splits loud?
Indoor heads are very quiet at normal settings, often quieter than a refrigerator. Outdoor units are compact and quieter than most central AC condensers.
04Can a mini-split heat the room too?
Yes. Almost all mini-splits we install are heat pumps, so they heat and cool.
